Come & Try Bushcare – Bridgewater Park 🌱

You’re invited to come & try Bushcare!

The Bridgewater Park Bushcare group are committed to protecting the biodiversity of plant and animal species found within this scenic reserve.

A natural watercourse flows throughout the eucalypt woodland, where the group will conduct plantings and weeding to enhance the ecological value.

Bridgewater Park in Springfield (Gazebo at the corner of Vistula Cct and Karamea Ave, Springfield)

Ipswich City Council’s Bushcare program has sites across the city, from Springfield to Rosewood. All are run by volunteers who hold regular working bees on their approved sites.

Residents can attend three trial days before having to register as a regular volunteer. Find more details and group information at Ipswich.qld.gov.au/bushcare

Please wear a hat, long pants and closed in shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, snacks and gloves. Sunscreen will be available.
