Collection Connection: Inspiration in the Process with Jordan Seyer, Gallery Services Associate

Collection Connection Workshops encourage conversations around the Springfield Art Museum’s permanent collection. Connections are free and open to the public. Individual sessions will be held at various community locations. Space may be limited so pre-registration is required. (See ticketing section below)

Not all artwork is polished to a fine finish. Some is left at a state where people may say "my child could do that," but when we look at the process of an artist's work, we may approach these pieces with a different outlook. In this Collection Connection, Jordan Seyer, Museum Gallery Services Associate, will be breaking down the process of artmaking and how we can form deeper connections to artwork by examining that process further.
