Springboro's Shred and Electronic Recycling Day is Saturday, Oct. 18. The event is 10 a.m. until noon--or the trucks are full--at North Park. Shredding: paper, old bills, checkbooks and other paper items accepted. Cobalt trucks will be onsite to accept the following electronics: computers, laptops, servers, hard drives, cell phones, tablets, routers, modems, telephones, fax machines, speakers, stereos/speakers, remotes, keyboards, mic, wires, batteries, microwaves, LCD screens, cable/satellite boxes, DVRs, CRT monitors and televisions. The best part? You don’t need to leave your car! Bring papers to be shredded in cardboard boxes or other containers—plastic bags are not accepted.
