The words Platting and Survey often run together in the real estate world. Although they are very different, they can be critical in the buying process.
Buying land is much different that purchasing a home in a subdivision. Minimum lot size requirements are another issue when trying to plan Septic and Water wells on property.

Guide a client through a land/home transaction or be able to find the answer
Understand who is responsible for platting property, the cost, the process, and how long it takes
Describe an Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ)
Understand the Administrative codes requirements on installing Septic and Water Wells
Explain the minimum lot size requirements to plat a property
Understand the Residential Feasibility Study
