Fillmore County Babysitting Clinic

Join us to learn about babysitting on Tuesday, January 13th from 3:15 to 4:45 pm, and Wednesday, January 14th from 2:15 to 3:45pm. Fillmore County Public Health Staff Brenda Pohlman & University of Minnesota Extension Staff Alex Coe will be teaching the course on how to prepare for and be an amazing babysitter! This course is open to everyone in grades 5 and up and will take place at Kingsland Elementary School Room #N109 in Spring Valley.
Some of the skills taught will include:

What parents expect of you as the babysitter
Toy selection/babysitting kits
Choking Response
Basic First Aid
Personal Safety
Calling for Emergencies
Participants, please bring a cherished stuffed animal or doll, and an excitement to learn!

Snacks will be provided.

Cost to attend is $20.
