On Sunday October 5, 2025, the Illinois Walleye Trail - Spring Valley Walleye Club will host a benefit catfish tournament for a friend and family member of the walleye club. Join us in raising money for Christine and her family!
- Boat check in will be at 5 a.m. at Barto Landing in Spring Valley
- Weigh-in will be at 12:30 p.m.
- 5 Best Channel Catfish will be weighed - All fish must be kept alive. (No Flatheads)
- Entry Fee will be $100 per 3-person team
- Big Fish pot will be $20 paying back to largest Channel cat weighed.

A lunch will be provided at Jack's Tap immediately following the weigh-in, where awards and payout will be presented. Compliments of Spring Valley Walleye Club. Raffles - 50/50 and cash prizes as well!
Donations will be accepted - if you do not plan on fishing. You can either register for the event or contact Adam Sandor or Nic Keegan where donations can be Venmo to the club!
We appreciate everyone's support and hope to see you all there! All proceeds will be donated to the family!
