Fascinating Fascia! A ReX Method™ Workshop

In this workshop, participants will learn about the metasystem of connective tissue known collectively as fascia. We'll explore the different forms, fluidity, and support fascia offers through information and experience, including various ways to stretch, strengthen, develop proprioception, as well as reducing inflammation.

This educational opportunity is HIGHLY recommended for any movement professional and especially for yoga instructors. It is the second of a three-part series on the Science of Stretching which will conclude with a Yoga Teacher Training on January 24th (see separate event or visit website link for details).

About the facilitator: Sandy Parker has been a movement education leader in West Michigan for 40 years. She has a BS in Health Education and many post graduate specialty certifications including Restorative Exercise Specialist. Sandy has studied with biomechanists Katy Bowman and Jules Mitchel, with anatomists Gil Hedley and Tom Meyers, and has followed the development of fascia science for 15 years. ReX Method™ Workshops are her signature presentations combining experience, education, and application for both practitioners and providers.
