For many years, the Festival of Trees was a cherished tradition in our community—an event that brought together families, friends, and neighbors to kick off the holiday season with joy and generosity.
After a two-year pause, we’re thrilled to announce the return of that same holiday spirit in a new and exciting way: The District 297 Gala, taking place over Thanksgiving weekend.
Funds raised through the Gala will be distributed by a parent-led committee to support teachers and staff with classroom programs, special projects, and innovative learning opportunities for students. In addition, we will be collecting donations for two essential local causes—the Houston County Food Shelf and the Houston County Ring and Run—helping families in need right here in our community.
Your support plays a vital role in making this event a success. We invite you to join us as a donor, guest, and/or auction participant at the District 297 Gala. Your contribution—whether through sponsorship, a donation, or active participation—will make a meaningful impact on our schools and our community this holiday season.
If you would like to donate an auction item, they may be dropped off at the Fest Building Sunday, November 23 from 12 - 4 or on Wednesday, November 26 from 12 pm to 6 pm. If these times do not work, please contact the school office to coordinate a drop off time.
Schedule of Events
6 pm: District 297 Gala - $30/person (Includes appetizers and 3 drinks) and Silent Auction
8pm: Live Auction begins and SG Friends and Alumni Recognition
Thank you for your continued generosity in our community. Together, we can make this a celebration to remember!
