River Valley Players Announce "Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Radio Play" for Holiday Season 2025

All are invited to the open auditions on Sunday, October 5th between 3-5 pm and Monday, October 6th from 6-8 pm at the Gard Theater. Auditioners may come any time. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, October 13th and will take place on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday schedule, leading into performances from December 4-7 as part of the River Valley's annual Country Christmas.

Based on George Seaton’s magical holiday film from 1947, River Valley Players' “Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Radio Play” will rekindle your imagination.
Director Patrick Hagen is excited to return to Spring Green's historic Gard Theater after a successful run with last year’s “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.” “'Miracle’ will feature a large cast and live jazz music. Like last year’s “Wonderful Life,” said Hagen. "We are looking for actors from 6-86. There are roles for kids, young adults, and adults. We welcome new people to the stage as well. Radio plays are a great way to get your start in theater because you don’t have to memorize lines.”
Hagen added, "Theater productions involve a community. Perhaps you’re not interested in being front-and-center on stage.
