As part of Solidarity September, a national movement, Spokane's Say It Saturdays hosts a We Are All DC rally.
From the FREEDC website, the hosts of this national rally write, "DC communities are joyful, powerful — and we're under attack.
Armed National Guard soldiers are carrying guns through our neighborhoods. ICE and FBI agents are profiling, harassing, and violently arresting our neighbors. MPD is going after children just for being outside, and every hour that goes by is an hour when people here are in danger.
On Saturday, September 6, we are calling on everyone in the DC region and allies from across the country to join us for "We Are All DC," a national march in solidarity with DC communities to end the occupation of DC."
Spokane's rally at BA Clark Park runs from 3-5. Bring signs and noisemakers. We'll have music one way or another. Let's make some noise!
