This gentle, restorative 2-hour immersion is designed to help you unwind long-held bracing patterns, release stored tension, and return to your bodyās natural capacity for softness, breath, and ease. When the nervous system is overwhelmed, the body contracts and protects; this workshop offers a safe space to reverse that process with intention, curiosity, and compassion.
Through a blend of guided somatic sensationābased meditation, slow unbracing movements inspired by Hanna Somatics, trauma-informed yoga principles, and accessible nervous-system and embodiment education, youāll learn how to shift out of chronic stress states and reorient toward safety, grounding, and presence. Each practice is designed to help your system settle, your breath deepen, and your awareness return to the quiet intelligence of your body.
Youāll also have time for gentle reflective journaling, supporting integration of emotional and physical insights. A take-home handout will offer simple somatic practices and nervous-system tools you can use anytime you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, tense, or in need of a quick reset.
This workshop is open to anyone, whether you are new to somatic work or already familiar with mind-body approaches. No experience is necessary; all movements and practices are invitational, slow, and accessible. Come as you are, with a willingness to slow down, listen inward, and let your body lead you back to equilibrium and deeper self-understanding.
