Cirkus Kolektiv i Festival Split Calling vas pozivaju na RADIONICU ULIČNOG TEATRA S ADRIANOM SCHVARZSTEINOM!
U sklopu Festivala suvremenog cirkusa i umjetnosti na otvorenom SPLIT CALLING, održat će se radionica uličnog teatra koju će voditi Adrian Schvarzstein, renomirani komičar i kazališni redatelj koji se bavi cirkusom i uličnim kazalištem.
TEMA: “Bringing joy to the city”
TRAJANJE: 19. - 24. listopada 2025.
LOKACIJA: javni prostori centra Splita
OPIS:
Uvod u svijet uličnog kazališta i kazališne postavke koje spajaju glumca, gledatelja i javni prostor. Kroz praktične vježbe i razvoj likova udubit ćemo se u ovu fascinantnu umjetničku disciplinu. Ovo je zanimljivo iskustvo za sve koji su otvoreni prema ideji da ulica pripada svima nama.
Cilj radionice je kreacija zajedničke performativne šetnje kroz pet dana rada, koja će biti izvedena šesti dan u sklopu festivala Split Calling.

KOME JE EDUKACIJA NAMIJENJENA:
Edukacija je namijenjena svima koje zanima umjetnost na otvorenom i ulični teatar - umjetnicima različitih praksi, plesačima, cirkusantima, glumcima, studentima izvedbenih umjetnosti…
Iskustvo u radu s javnim prostorom i performativnim praksama nije potrebno, ali će biti vrijedan doprinos radionici.

O MENTORU:
Adrian Schvarzstein živi u Barceloni i mješavina je raznih nacionalnosti, a formirao se u raznim zemljama diljem Europe. Život provodi strastveno skupljajući iskustva; bio je komičar, kazališni redatelj klasične glazbe i opere, radio je u cirkusu i uličnom kazalištu.
Voli spajati različite umjetničke discipline u jednoj predstavi, stvarajući s raznim talentiranim kolegama različite vrste iznenađujućih umjetničkih produkcija.
Nakon divnog iskustva s belgijskim cirkusom Ronaldo, stvorio je Circus Klezmer čije su predstave na turneji već 12 godina.
U zadnje vrijeme je režirao Mozartove opere i s ART HOUSE 17 iz Graza je uključen u mnoge različite glazbene projekte s jednim vrlo važnim ciljem - zabaviti i dirnuti gledatelje.
Kaos, iznenađenje i provokativna nevinost samo su neke od tajni koje koristi u kazalištu i na festivalima na kojima igra svoje predstave u više od 70 zemalja diljem svijeta.

Cirkus Kolektiv and the Split Calling Festival invite you to a STREET THEATRE WORKSHOP WITH ADRIAN SCHVARZSTEIN!
As part of the SPLIT CALLING Contemporary Circus and Outdoor Arts Festival, a street theatre workshop will be held, led by Adrian Schvarzstein, a renowned comedian and theatre director involved in circus and street theatre.
TOPIC: Bringing joy to the city
DURATION: October 19 - 24, 2025
LOCATION: public space in the centre of Split
DESCRIPTION:
Introduction to the practical world of street theatre and theatre settings that connect the actor, the audience and the public space. Through practical exercises and character development, we will delve into this fascinating artistic discipline. This is an interesting experience for anyone who is open to the idea that the street belongs to all of us.
The aim of the workshop is to create a joint performative walk over five days of work, which will be performed on the sixth day as part of the Split Calling festival.

WHO IS THE EDUCATION INTENDED FOR:
The education is intended for everyone interested in open-air art and street theater - artists of various practices, dancers, circus performers, actors, students of performing arts, practitioners of various artistic directions interested in working in public space…
Experience in working with public space and performative practices is not required, but will be a valuable contribution to the workshop.

MENTOR BIO:
Living in Barcelona, he is a mixture of various nationalities formed across Europe. He spends his life avidly accumulating experiences — having been a comedian, a stage director for classical music and opera, and having worked in both circus and street theatre.
He loves to combine different artistic disciplines in a single show, creating with a variety of talented colleagues all kinds of surprising artistic productions.
After a wonderful experience with the Belgian circus Ronaldo, he created Circus Klezmer, which has been on tour for 12 years.
Street theatre productions such as The Greenman, The Bed, Dans, and more recently Arrived or Sweet Home on Wheels tour throughout the year. With KAMCHATKA Theatre, migration and the experience of emigrants became one of their central themes.
Thanks to Le Tendre Amour, the stage of early music was opened to him.
He has recently directed Mozart’s operas and is actively involved with ART HOUSE17 from Graz in many different musical projects — all with one very important aim: to make the spectator an amused and emotionally moved participant.
Chaos, surprise, and provocative innocence are just some of the elements he has used in theatre and festivals across more than 70 countries worldwide.
