Hold onto your feathers, Owen County—because on September 6th from 10 AM to Noon, the south side of the courthouse transforms into a full-blown poultry-powered party!
Contestants will dive into the silliest showdown of the season, trying to “catch” a chicken (no real birds, just big laughs) for a shot at Babbs chicken for a whole year. That’s 365 days of crispy, golden glory.

Additionally, there will be Babb's Chicken Fly where everyone in attendance is welcome to participate! In this event, you will have a chance to win Babb's 97 Shopping Spree in honor of their 97th birthday! Whether you’re tossing, cheering, or just soaking in the madness, this is the kind of community fun that turns small towns into legends.
