Neighbors 2 Neighbors Farmers Market

Have you heard? It is supposed to be another gloriously perfect summer day this Saturday! I don't know why we've been given all these perfect Saturdays this summer season, buy, by golly, I'm accepting it.

On that note, our regular Neighbors 2 Neighbors Farmers Market will happen this Saturday, August 23, at the Lions Park on N. 3rd Street, in Spearfish, from 9 am to noon. The gardeners are growing every sort of vegetable and fruit you can ask for. The bakers, canners, and all the food preservers are creating delicious wares. Our artists and craftspeople are full of wonderful inventory for gifts, mementos, and utility in our homes. Jenny Braig will be at the market with her skillfully played accordion. I'd like to remind everyone that these buskers at our market are gratis, but tips are a way of showing them how much we appreciate their artisanship. A couple of dollars in their hat would be appreciated by all our musicians.
