With great joy and gratitude, we celebrate a milestone in the life of Manche Masemola Anglican Church, Protea Glen Ext 4, Soweto. Our Men’s Guild marks 10 years of dedicated service, spiritual growth, and impactful ministry. We honour the courage and faith of Manche Masemola, a young girl from Sekhukhune. Born around 1913, Manche embraced Christianity through the Anglican Church mission despite strong opposition from her traditionalist parents. Her unwavering commitment to her faith led to her tragic death at the age of 15 in 1928, at the hands of her own parents. Though she was
never baptized, her sacrifice is recognized by the Anglican Church as that of a true martyr. Manches story continues to inspire generations, reminding us of the strength and resilience of women in faith.
To honour this incredible journey, we invite you to a vibrant and fun-filled morning of celebration and community spirit!
