TASTING AND GIVING EVENT WITH COUNTERWEIGHT

Come to The Rail Trail Ale House to meet these fine folks, try some of their delicious beer, eat some incredible food and support an amazing Children's Charity!

Once described to me as the "Tree House of Connecticut" this brewery's goal is to honor long-held brewing traditions while exploring new and innovatibe methods to hilight each ingredient and delight your pallet with every sip. They DO NOT disappoint!!!

They have received numerous awards & nominations most recently the GOLD MEDAL at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival (GABF)for their modern classic lager-this is their fourth award from the GABF and was named one of the 12 BEST BREWERIES by Hop Culture Magazine in 2021.

Not only are they incredible brewmasters, but they are incredible people as well. They are constantly giving back to their community. They do a fundraiser every year for CT Children's foundation and they call it HO-HO-HOPE for the kids.

CT Children's foundation is the only health system 100% dedicated to kids providing quality care across more than 30 pediatric specialties throughout CT, Eastern NY and Western MA. They adre dedicated to improving the physical and emotional health of children through family centered care, research, education and advocacy.
