📅 Sundays this fall, Sep. 14 & 21, Oct. 5 – Nov. 23, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: What is the Small Catechism—and why does it still matter? Sometime in the late 1520's, Martin Luther became aware that most Christians did not fully understand the basic tenets of the faith, so he wrote the Small Catechism. In his own words, people had become "simple cattle and mindless pigs" in regards to the basics of Christian teaching, so he provided this teaching tool to be used in the home.
Join the pastors this fall on Sunday mornings for a new series exploring Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. Each week includes a short video and guided discussion on the Ten Commandments, Apostles’ Creed, Lord’s Prayer, and sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. All are welcome—no prep needed, come as you’re able.
