Rich Wilson is an award-winning stand-up with a reputation for smart punchy and hilariously personal comedy. Whether he's on stage or behind the mic he's always the real deal – no gimmicks just laugh-out-loud storytelling and razor-sharp wit.

You’ve heard him on the smash-hit Parenting Hell podcast (S4 Ep38) with Rob Beckett & Josh Widdicombe and seen his special You Could Have It So Much Better on Amazon Prime ITVx Apple TV and NextUp.

His stand-up has sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Melbourne Comedy Festival and New Zealand Comedy Festival where he won Best International Guest in 2016.

He’s also a top-tier writer (BBC Three Sky Arts Channel 4) and podcaster hosting the acclaimed Insane In The… series – nominated by Podbible and previously awarded by JOE – with guests like James Acaster Romesh Ranganathan and David Baddiel.

Rich is also the co-host of But Please Don’t Panic! a deep dive into cult B-movies with co-host Rachael “Wellsy” Wells.

Our compere and your host for Stand in The Basement Colin Owens is an award-winning stand-up comedian who has worked with Jimmy Carr the teams behind The Inbetweeners and Mighty Boosh. Described as ‘laconic and charming’ Colin talks about his failings inadequacies mistakes and general stupidity all tinged with an air of paranoia and insecurity but delivered with supreme confidence and sexual edginess!
