Sunday Morning Early Bird Adult Pottery Classes.

THROWERS

Designed as a relaxed social group this session is suitable for all levels of potter. Beginners and more experienced mud slingers.

This session is reserved for our regular throwers and members.

PLEASE NOTE to purchase a Regular Throwers Ticket You must have thrown at least once before to attend this class. If you are new to throwing please book a Throwing Taster Session. These take place on Sundays 3-5, Tuesdays 10-12, Thursdays 10-12, Thursdays 7-9pm and Fridays 12.30 - 2.30

Sessions that take place outside of term times may not be supervised. If you require supervision ensure your booking is within term time.

HANDBUILDING

If you have not done hand building previously but would like to have a go, we recommend attending one of our project workshops first. It's not essential but may help in understanding the skills and options available for hand building.

Dassett Pottery offers a dedicated high quality modern studio facility. Our aim is to make pottery as accessible as possible.

Whether you are just getting in some practice or would like some additional guidance this is a great session.

Your session will include:

Unlimited clay (KGM. Millenium white or Terracotta)

Expert tuition and support

Demonstrations

firing allowance of 300g

2 hours studio time. 

Clean up takes around 20 minutes so please allow for this in your planning. The session will include tuition unlimited clay and firing allowance.

No commitment to attend a minimum number of sessions.

Regular Throwing Sessions - £25 for potters who have attended at least 1 previous throwing session

Hand building Session - £25 for all hand builders
