Hello all,
This is the first Boston Deaf Night Out. Krishna and I were discussing what would be a good first event. I remember last year that there was a spectacular event that everyone loved to try again. So it will be outside of Boston for now at Crazy Axe in Foxborough, MA!
We talked with the deaf owner of Crazy Axe at Patriot Palace and he and his wife would be happy to host again! It will be at 202 Patriot Pl, Foxborough, MA. There is free parking at that place. If you want to take public transportation, your best bet is the Purple Line at Franklin/Foxboro. From the Foxboro station to Crazy Axe is about 9 minutes’ walk.
The event will start from 6 pm to 11 pm at their closing time. The owner, David Kulikowski, and his wife were kind enough to offer free axe-throwing games for those who are deaf and hard of hearing. You can play at any time with those who may be interested in going or with your own group. However, food and drinks are yours to pay for separately. You can play various games, go to the bar to socialize, drink, etc. There will be plenty of lights inside for that evening. If you want to go shopping around, you may. There is limited vegetarian food. No gluten-friendly food there, so you could bring your own food, order out, or go somewhere nearby to eat. If we all have a blast, he could continue until midnight. There are other bars or places nearby if you would like to continue after 11 pm.
Video will be posted soon by David for more information or announcements! It may not be until by the latest next week on Monday
See you all there!
