As the hot August nights usher in another thrilling season of racing, officials with the Colorado-based Momentum Sprint Car Tour are excited to announce plans for an electrifying season finale this September at the newly revitalized Suika Circuit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Formerly known as Sandia Speedway, Suika Circuit has roared back to life after a decade-long hiatus, with owners investing significantly in upgrades—including a full resurfacing of the legendary ½-mile paperclip-shaped oval this past May.
The tour made an unforgettable stop at Suika Circuit earlier this year, where local favorite Michael Fanelli of Rio Rancho, New Mexico captured victory, igniting excitement throughout the community. Now, as the Momentum Sprint Car Tour returns in September to close out the 2025 season and crown the series champion, anticipation is at an all-time high. The stakes are bigger than ever, with a minimum of $1,500 awaiting the winner—officials are working to increase that purse even further—and at least $250 guaranteed to each driver starting the A-feature. Additional awards will be given for quick time, heat race winners, and the hard charger, ensuring plenty of opportunities for racers to shine.
