Solstice Nature Meditation

In honor of the coming Winter Solstice we will meet for a guided walk and a seated meditation in the quiet garden at Leon Levy Preserve. This time of year we look forward to transitioning from the darkest time of the year to ever increasing light after the solstice, with a link to Hanukkah and the many other celebrations of light.

This program is led by Catherine Downs, a Reiki Master Teacher and a certified Forest Therapy Guide from ANFT. This program is limited to 20 attendees. We recommend sturdy shoes, appropriate layers, and water. Attendees should also bring something to sit on — a blanket, cushion, beach chair, camp chair — and perhaps a hat (or any other props) for additional comfort during the seated meditation. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel.
