Students must have experience and should have taken our Intro to Stained Glass class prior to signing up for this one.
In this 3 week series students will learn the basics of stained glass art. This will include design, cutting and shaping of glass, copper foil, installation, and soldering.
Each student will have the choice to create
The class shall include three- two hour sessions and a limited 8 students.
Close toed shoes are required.

*Because we have other classes ain the studio, gallery doors will open no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class start time for stained glass students.
Monday, Oct 20th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm CST
Wednesday, Oct 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm CST
Thursday, Oct 23rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm CST

STUDENTS
We welcome all students from beginner to experienced glass artist who may be looking for a refresher course. The class is designed to provide the stepping stones for students, looking to create more complex glass structures. You must be 16 or older to attend without being accompanied by an adult. Any adult chaperoning a class does not need to purchase a ticket if not participating in the class.
INSTRUCTOR
Steve Shapiro originally an Illinois resident moved to the Jasper area four years ago via Hilton Head South Carolina, where he learned the art of Stainglass. A plumber/business owner by trade, started creating Stainglass art eight years ago. As a plumber, working with solder on a daily basis, stain glass art came very easy to him. He enjoys all forms of glass art, including foil, lead came and fused glass. His design ideas come from the world around him, but mostly prefers nature and animals.
