PSYCHOSOCIAL SAFE WORKPLACES
Practicing good HR leads to psychosocially safe workplaces. This practical and engaging workshop for small and medium sized businesses in the Shoalhaven will help you manage this important topic.
Why this is important:
Psychosocial hazards – like excessive workload, poor support, or toxic dynamics- can seriously impact employee wellbeing, retention, and performance.
But more importantly, new compliance pressures are here.
SafeWork NSW has just committed $127.7 million to strengthen its psychosocial safety enforcement. This includes 51 new inspectors (20 focusing solely on psychosocial hazards) and a sharp increase in compliance activities.
All employers, regardless of size, are now legally required to manage psychosocial risks in the workplace- just as they would physical hazards. They need to be proactive, not reactive about these hazards.
