Scandinavian Day 2025 in Vasa Park

Scandinavian Day-2025 will be on Sunday, 7-Sep-2025, at Vasa Park, 35W 217 Illinois Route 31, South Elgin, IL from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, followed by a brief closing bonfire. The IAC has already secured a vendor booth AND our corporate benefactor, IcelandicGlacial Water, has already committed to providing Water to supplement our sales of assorted homemade items. Help at our IAC vendor booth is always welcome and very much-appreciated. There will be Scandinavian entertainment and food vendors throughout the day. Vasa Park is the twenty-five acre recreational park along the shore of the Fox River with its majestic oak trees, initially begun by the Chicago-area Swedish-American Community, now managed by its Trustee, the Not-for-Profit, 501(c) Scandinavian Park Inc., on whose Board our Joni Shaw continues to represent the IAC [with John as the alternate representative].
