When storytellers Darrin and Robin Crow began crafting“Beyond the Beaten Path”they didn’t know quite where the journey would take them.
This exploration of their parents’ lives during the Vietnam War took them down fascinating and sometimes challenging paths of research, interviewing, and creating. Explore with them the challenges and rewards of crafting both a historical and a tandem storytelling piece.
The men and women who served in Vietnam lived through a
turbulent, troubling and sometimes wonderful period. As they growolder, those stories are in danger of being lost, or even worse, never told.
Join Darrin and Robin Crow to explore ways to preserve these
stories. We will look at ways to work with veterans and histories andto craft them into storytelling works. Darrin and Robin will share from their experiences working with their parents. Come with ideas and be ready to work together, craft and share.
