Percorsi guidati tra mare&monti storia&cinema alla ri-scoperta del Centro Storico di Vico Equense (una delle perle della Costiera Sorrentina) in compagnia di Chiara guida locale abilitata.

Alla scoperta dell'antica Aequa le cui più antiche testimonianze sono di epoca preromana. Il centro antico è caratterizzato da fitte stradine e dai suoi monumenti in particolare l’ex Cattedrale al primo posto nella classifica di “Marco Polo TV” sui santuari più belli d’Italia e il Castello Giusso. L’itinerario prevede anche la visita all’Antiquarium “Silo Italico” che raccoglie i reperti archeologici rinvenuti negli scavi effettuati nel territorio e al Museo del Cinema in Costiera dedicato alla storia e ai retroscena dei numerosi film girati in Penisola Sorrentina.

È possibile aggiungere una visita al Museo Mineralogico Campano e/o al Museo Aperto Antonio Asturi.

Vico Equense - Old Town Centre Guided Walking Tour

Let’s discover the ancient Aequa whose first archaeological evidence is from pre-Roman times.

We will walk through ancient narrow streets admiring remarkable monuments such as the former Cathedral of Our Lady of the Annunciation superb example of Gothic style and the Giusso Castle with its medieval and Renaissance buildings. The itinerary also includes a visit to the “Silio Italico” Museum where important archaeological findings from excavations carried out in the area are on display and to the Museum of Cinema focused on films set around Sorrento Coast. Upon request we can add a visit to the Mineralogical Museum famous for its rich collections of minerals and fossils or to Antonio Asturi Open Museum a permanent exhibition dedicated to the local painter Antonio Asturi.
