Guitar virtuoso Vieux Farka Touré crafts Malian blues in the rich Songhai tradition of his late father, guitarist Ali Farka Touré. Drawing on traditional West African melodies and infusing them with adventurous cross-border explorations, Touré creates an irresistible sound that pays homage to the past while looking toward the future. With the fire of his guitar, Touré has confirmed his reputation as one of the world’s most talented and innovative musicians.
