“The moment I flipped over my card, I felt seen—and a little naked. Like, ‘Oh boy. There’s no hiding from this now.’ But instead of shrinking from it, I actually felt more solid on my feet than I ever have in a leadership role.” — AR
If something in you is stirring (and you can’t quite name it), you’re not broken—you’re between stories.
Maybe the roles you’ve played feel too tight.
Maybe the map you’ve followed no longer matches the terrain.
The facts stay the same. But the story changes.
“It reminded me that I can slow down. I left the event with a deep breath I didn’t know I’d been holding—and the clarity to start making space in my life again.” — JP
Unwritten is an invitation to change the way you’re reading your life.
Unwritten is a live, discussion-based evening where you’ll step out of the noise and into a sacred, phone-free space. You’ll be guided into a symbolic encounter with a single archetype—one that mirrors where you are now. It won’t hand you a five-step plan. Instead, it will give you something far more durable: a pattern you can trust, language for what’s true, and a next chapter that feels alive in your hands.
“I didn’t even know The Shaman was an archetype—but once I sat with it, it helped me recognize a pattern in my life I’d been circling for years. It brought something to the surface that had always been there, but never fully named.” — YS
“For the first time, I realized I didn’t have to become a tyrant to claim my power. There’s a version of the King that’s benevolent, grounded—and I can live into that.” — AR
This isn’t about finding your identity. It’s about finding your way.
Without revealing the mechanics, here’s the shape of the experience:
“What surprised me most was the people—their openness, their stories, the way our paths seemed to echo each other’s. I came to explore archetypes, but I left feeling profoundly connected to the human experience.” — JP
“There’s something magical about walking into a room full of strangers and ending up in deep, honest conversation. I never expected to feel so seen, so quickly.” — MH
You might not be able to name exactly what’s shifting. But you can feel it.
Come if:
“After the workshop, I started noticing the roles I was playing at work and in life—Victim, Hero, even Villain. Once I could see the pattern, I didn’t feel stuck in it anymore.” — LW
No belief system required. No prior knowledge of archetypes. Just a willingness to explore the story beneath the surface.
This is not a workshop where you’ll leave with a checklist and action items. You’ll leave with something rarer:
“I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery for a while now—reading, meditating, trying things on my own. This experience helped tie it all together. It didn’t give me answers—it gave me the right starting point for the next chapter.” — AU
“The archetypes aren’t just stories—they’ve become tools for understanding myself and how I move through the world. This work isn’t theoretical. It’s personal, it’s practical, and it’s changing how I relate to everyone around me.” — MH
To keep the space safe, sacred, and playful, we agree to:
We’ll keep the evening phone-free and shoes-off to honor the space (socks welcome).
“The environment was spiritual, but not in a vague or dogmatic way. It created space for curiosity, for insight, and for mapping who I am beyond just the roles I play in daily life.” — YS
📅 Practical Details
Stand at the edge of the known and listen. The archetype that finds you will not be random. This part of you matters now.
Come curious. Come as you are. Come discover your story.

I created Unwritten because I needed it myself. At 40, I found myself anxious, adrift, and unsure why the life I’d built didn’t feel like mine. So I stripped away all distractions—no screens, no people, just me in the New Mexico desert. And what I found wasn’t an answer. It was curiosity. The same kind I used to feel in the middle of a novel—when anything could still happen. Archetypes helped me reclaim that wonder and rewrite the story I’d been unconsciously living. Now, I help others do the same.
Michael Danklefs
My path led me through addiction, loss, and severe consequences for not listening to my gut. Through deep men's work, accountability practices, and shadows work, I began to rewrite the script. I used to think that I was the hero of my story -- until I saw how many other roles I was playing without realizing it. Now I support others to turn their lumps into lessons, and guide them from regret to thriving by living an intentional life. Awareness of the commitments we make to ourselves and others requires the integrity to follow through on those commitments.
