Join us for a discussion with the mayoral candidates about education issues, co-hosted by the Somerville Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Somerville Public Library, and the Somerville Council of PTAs.

7:00pm - 8:00pm: The three candidates for Somerville Mayor will discuss libraries and schools. Questions for the candidates will be sourced from YOU - the community ahead of time.

>>YES, absolutely!
Q: Will there by a remote / livestream / zoom option?
>>No, this will be an in-person event, but we are working on arrangements to record it and share with the video recording with the community after. The video recording will be linked at this website when it is ready, which we will share with the community as widely as possible after the event:

Q: Will there be time for live questions from the audience to the candidates? And if not, will candidates get the questions ahead of time?
>>There will not be time for live questions during the event.

Q: Will there be interpretation available in other languages?
>> We are working to secure live interpretation in Haitian Creole, Portuguese and Spanish, the three most commonly spoken world languages in Somerville Public Schools.
