Dust off those sleeping bags and find your flashlights! It’s time for our favorite event of the season—the Spring Camp Out. We’re heading to Lake Somerville State Park for a weekend of hiking, campfires, and (hopefully) minimal "are we there yet?" questions from the backseat.

Lake Somerville is a fantastic spot for our scouts to practice their outdoor skills, work on rank advancements, go fishing, and—most importantly—perfect the art of the golden-brown marshmallow! Whether you're a seasoned camper or your idea of "roughing it" is a hotel without room service, we want you there!

Note: Registration closes strictly on March 4th so we can finalize campsite assignments and food planning.

* Gear: A full packing list will be sent out as we get closer.
* Weather: It’s Texas in March—plan for everything from "perfect" to "why is it suddenly 40 degrees?", but we wont know until we get closer to that time.
* Food: Details on the "Chuckwagon" menu and volunteer opportunities will follow once we have our final headcount.
