The Crystal Ballroom Open Mic Night lets you be the star. We have the stage, you bring the talent (and your friends to cheer you on)! Singing, dancing, rapping, poetry, spoken word, comedy, whatever you want to showcase. We recommend a light, easy set up. We will supply the microphones and do our best to help with backing tracks/etc. If you plan to perform arrive earlier and talk with the host to make sure we can accommodate your act! The night is hosted by local artist and emcee Alae.
Some general rules:
Respect the host: The host is in charge of the event and their decisions should be respected.
Be prepared: Be ready and know your material.
Respect the time limit: Be mindful of the time allotted for each performance and stay within the limit, typically 3-5 minutes.
Be respectful of other performers: Don't talk loudly during other performances. Offer support and encouragement to fellow artists.

Behave professionally: Avoid disruptive behavior, such as excessive talking or heckling.
