Sea Glass in a frame- Create a picture in a frame using sea glass, paints and textures

Please join us for a fun evening where you will create a beautiful piece of artwork using a modality of your choice to form the main picture, acrylic paints, watercolours or drawing. You can either do this free hand or use stencils, therefore it is suitable for all ability’s.

You will then use sea glass to add depth and texture to your piece of work, allow the sea glass to highlight the parts that stand out for you and the parts that you feel that bring the picture to life, this a beautiful way to create unique art.

You will be working on a 6x4 frame.

This workshop forms part of our adults only weekly craft club, where we do something different each week.

Each Wednesday session is £12.50, or £40 for the month, all materials and refreshments are provided.

Please note booking is essential, we cannot accept walk ins on the day, full payment will also be required upon booking to secure your space. Please note that should you no longer be able to attend, we will be unable to move you to a different event or refund you due the cost of materials, unless we can fill your space.

We are located next to the pet shop and opposite the hairdressers.

As the name suggests we are located under ground, therefore there is no disabled access. However there are two large handrails to guide you down the stairs, and the area is bright and well lit.

There is ample free parking in the car park by the library and the co-op, please do however ensure that you check the time restrictions and areas that may be permit only.

And finally as we are an arts and crafts centre we therefore recommend that you always wear old clothes, or clothes that you do not mind permanent stains on, anything you wear or bring is at your own risk in terms of stains or damage.
