Two-Game Elimination Tournament Rules

Format Overview

• Each team is guaranteed at least 2 games.
• The bracket is divided into a Winners Bracket and a Losers Bracket.
• A team is eliminated after losing two games.
• The championship game is played between the winner of the Winners Bracket and the winner of the Losers Bracket.
• • If the Losers Bracket team wins the championship game, an “if necessary” game is played to determine the true champion.

Game Rules

• One Pitch Format:Each batter gets one pitch. If it’s a strike or they swing and miss, they’re out. If it’s a ball, they walk. If it’s hit fair, foul your out or it’s live play.
• Team Lineups:Minimum of 8 players to start.
• Innings/Time Limit:Games are 7 innings or 60 minutes, whichever comes first. No new inning after 55 minutes.
• Mercy Rule:15-run lead after 4 innings ends the game. 12 after 5 10 after 6
• Ties:In bracket games, ties go to sudden-death one-pitch extra inning. In championship, play full inning extras until winner is declared.

Tournament Conduct

• Teams must be ready 10 minutes before scheduled start.
• Umpire rulings are final.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct = warning or ejection.
• Bring your own wood bats , gloves, and team shirts.
