New Tai Chi Sword class starting on Tuesday, November 4 at 7:00 PM.
Class will run for 45 minutes, sometimes longer at a cost of $60 a month. ($30 if you are already a student) Our curriculum will consist of stretching, basic meditation, breath control and tai chi. Let us know if you want us to reserve you a spot.
What is tai chi?
Tai chi is often described as "meditation in motion," but it might well be called "medication in motion." This gentle form of exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, and can be the perfect activity for the rest of your life. It embodies our school motto: Live Younger, Longer. We will also teach the fighting applications to the form, opening the door for martial arts training for many who thought they couldn't do it.
Beyond the bare hand Tai Chi form awaits the elegant and highly effective Tai Chi Sword, which has long been considered the highest achievement in Tai Chi training. The beautiful and flowing Tai Chi Sword form will strengthen your body, sharpen your mind, and raise your spirit.
