🕯️ The Longest Night Service: Finding Light in the Darkness
The holidays are not joyful for everyone. If you are navigating a sad, complicated, or difficult season of life, you are not alone. We invite you to a quiet, supportive space designed especially for you.
December, with its short days and long nights, can amplify feelings of grief, loss, and loneliness. Our "Longest Night" service (often called 'Blue Christmas') is held on the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—to acknowledge and honor those feelings.
What to Expect:
A Sanctuary of Solace: The service will be dimly lit, creating a peaceful atmosphere for reflection and healing.
The Theme of Hope: We center on the promise of Jesus Christ, the Light of the world, who offers hope and comfort to dispel the darkness of suffering.
A Moment of Remembrance: You are invited to light a candle in memory of a loved one or to reflect on a personal loss or challenge.
Supportive Community: This is a safe space to find comfort and support without the pressure of forced holiday cheer.
Join us as we come together on this longest night to find solace and light amidst the darkness of the season.
