Kamishibai Artist Workshop

Join us for a exciting four-day workshop where you will dive into the enchanting world of Kamishibai, the traditional Japanese art of paper theater.

You will learn about the history and techniques of Kamishibai artists, explore how they bring stories to life through captivating illustrations and performances. You will have the opportunity to create your own Kamishibai illustrations based on a book. You will develop your artistic skills and storytelling abilities and have an opportunity to present your finished creation.
