Contra on Campus: Techno Contra

Join the Fine Arts Department and Somerset Contra Dance as we host Contra on Campus: TECHNO Night! Called by Wendy Graham, "DJ PERKYPANTS"

A short lesson will begin at 7:00pm with the dance beginning at 7:30pm in the STONER LITTLE THEATRE! (with a WOOD FLOOR!)

Contra dancing is a form of folk dance made up of long lines of couples. Similar to square dancing in the social aspect. Dances will be lead by a caller, Typically with a live band.
Beginner friendly dancing with an at home, folk feel. Techno Contra is lead by a caller and DJ, calling to techno-themed contra music! WE ENCOURAGE RAVE ATTIRE! (Black lights, face paint, glow sticks, necklaces, etc.)

All are welcome! No dance experience or partner necessary!
