The Cape Floral Kingdom and its Fynbos Biome of the Western Cape is the richest flora region in the world. It's known as biodiversity hotspot, with a very high percentage in endemic species!
Do you want to know more about what makes the Western Cape's Fynbos so special and, how to ID the most important Families, Genera and Species? Then come and join us for an interactive workshop at the Helderberg Nature Reserve and learn all about our natural Fynbos heritage.
The workshop will explore the characteristics used to group and identify plants, and how to place them in their correct categories and taxonomic classification.
There will be a hands-on interaction with a variety of Fynbos plants as well as a short guided walk through the nature reserve.
The workshop will include a coffee/tea break with something delectable lunch.
Cost : R450 / person (Includes entrance fee to reserve and hiring of the lecture hall)
