DUBBO GULLY
25k/30k on fire trail especially selected for Six Foot Track Race training.
6:00am start, be there 15mins early for registration and meeting your fellow runners.
Please be quiet at the start. We don't want to wake up the few local residents close by. Public toilets are next to the Mangrove Mountain Hall at the turn off onto Waratah Road.
This is a scenic run that takes in a number of historic sites including Mangrove Creek, Upper Mangrove Cemetery, Fairview Homestead, Clares Bridge, and The Great North Rd.
No drink stops provided for this run, be prepared to be out in the bush in potentially hot weather for an extended period of time. You could consider bringing a drink bottle down to the bottom of the valley floor and leave it stashed away somewhere for when you return to go back up the last 3kms.
