Winter Woodpeckers
Did you know that Macbride Nature Recreation Area is home to all seven species of Woodpeckers found in Iowa? And that winter is the best time to spot Woodpeckers? Grab your binoculars and join us on an interpretive hike as we discover the amazing adaptations and ecological importance of these captivating birds. All ages welcome.

We are offering two programs:
Friday, Feb 27th from 1pm - 2 pm
Saturday, March 7th from 10am - 11 am
