Carols, Chorales, and Kenton Christmas

Join Iowa Brass and the Cedar Rapids Concert Chorale at the Solon High School Center for the Arts for an unforgettable holiday performance titled “Carols, Chorales, and Kenton Christmas.”

This concert is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays. The first half will feature both ensembles performing moving traditional Christmas works that will intertwine the beauty of voice and brass and have you feeling the spirit of the season.

The second half will have you tapping your toes, as members of Iowa Brass will perform the big band sounds of Stan Kenton. These imaginative arrangements of Christmas tunes by a beloved composer, arranger, and band leader have delighted audiences worldwide. You’ll want to swing in the aisles throughout this exciting performance.
