In this chef-led session, you’ll watch as a variety of dishes come to life in one of the most durable and flavorful cooking vessels around. From perfectly seared meats and golden cornbread to hearty one-pan meals and even desserts, our chef will showcase the techniques that make cast iron a kitchen essential. Along the way, you’ll learn how to properly season, clean, and care for your cookware so it lasts a lifetime. Generous tastings are included, giving you the chance to experience the unique flavor and texture that only cast iron can deliver.

What To Expect
Instructor: No Thyme To Cook Lead Chef Instructor
Length: Approximately 2 hours.
Format: Demonstration. The Chef will showcase how to prepare select dishes while you observe. Volunteers may be invited to assist, and questions are always welcome throughout the class.
Location: First floor.
Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.
Experience Options
General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
