In this workshop, participants will explore color theory learning how to effortlessly create both clean vibrant colors and interesting neutrals. Students will learn various techniques for creating texture, working with blooms (salt/water), masking, layering, lifting, glazing, and more. Students will also learn about paper types, reading paint tubes, and making swatch cards.
Beginner friendly class, all skill levels welcome.
Age Level: 16 + (children 10+ may join if accompanied by adult).
Date: Saturday, October 25th.
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm (Alaska Time).
Class Fee: $45
All materials necessary are provided by studio.
Paints needed are provided, however students are encouraged to bring their personal paint palettes (if they have them) for more in-depth exploration.
