Combine the intuitive art and solid science of botanical medicine, apprenticing with Master Herbalist, Gigi Stafne, for an intensive weekend at Golden Light Retreat Center.

Prerequisite for Intermediate & Master Herbalism programs
Fee: $333. Lunch included Saturday and Sunday
Lodging and Meal Packages:
$43 camping option (you supply gear)
$68 Shared Cabin (based on triple occupancy).
$108 Private Cabin Room

Includes one night lodging, Saturday dinner and breakfast Sunday.
Cabins have twin-beds with linen and towels provided. Cabin is heated and air conditioned and has electricity. Bathroom with shower a one-minute walk from cabin.
An additional night stay can be added for Friday or Sunday for $50/person shared cabin, $90/person single private cabin or $25/person camping. Breakfast is included.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds minus a $50.00 processing fee will be given until 15 days prior to workshop date. Refunds will not be given after that date. Exceptions are not made to this policy.
Materials to Bring:
Tote bag or basket, one glass pint size jar, one pint tincture solvent (examples: Apple Cider Vinegar, Brandy, Vodka, Vegetable Glycerin), 3 glass tincture bottles (1/2 or 1 ounce size--instructor will have some available to purchase, too). All other herbs, materials, containers are included in tuition.
About the Instructor:
Gigi Stafne MH, ND is an activist, educator and writer within ecological, health justice and natural medicine fields. She was long time Executive Director of Herbalists Without Borders International, addressing issues of health and social justice globally and is current Director of Green Wisdom School of Natural & Botanical Medicine in the Upper Midwest United States and Ontario, Canada. Students will receive a 40-hour Certificate of Completion for this foundations course in the U.S. While students-participants will be in class fewer hours than that, you will receive numerous reading materials that count toward those cumulative credit hours—readings you will do on your own.
