Sourdough Bread – ADVANCED Workshop
Take your sourdough baking to the next level in this advanced, hands-on workshop designed for experienced bakers. This class focuses on troubleshooting common sourdough challenges while exploring creative inclusions that enhance flavor, texture, and visual appeal.
Participants will learn how to correct issues such as dense crumb, poor rise, overproofing, and uneven shaping. The workshop also covers the use of inclusions—such as nuts, seeds, dried fruits, herbs, spices, and cheese—as well as advanced shaping techniques to ensure even distribution and beautifully structured loaves. Guidance on flavor development and pairing inclusions will help bakers create more complex and well-balanced sourdough.
Each participant will shape and bake their own loaf during class, with a variety of inclusions available for hands-on practice. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. All baking supplies are included; participants are encouraged to bring an apron if desired.

Cost: $60 resident / $78 non-resident
Registration is required by April 10, as ingredients and products must be prepared in advance. Space is limited.
