About the Class
Be prepared for emergencies wherever your adventures take you. Our First Aid Basics training, facilitated by the Lancaster Conservancy, is designed with the outdoors in mind—perfect for hikers, campers, and anyone who enjoys spending time in nature. This hands-on class introduces essential lifesaving skills including CPR, choking response, and severe bleeding control. While the session does not result in certification, it provides practical, real-world knowledge specifically geared toward responding in remote or outdoor settings where help may not be immediately available.
