🐸 About the Training
Calling all frog enthusiasts! Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council’s FrogWatch USA chapter and become a seasonal volunteer monitoring amphibians throughout the watershed.

This hands-on training will introduce you to local frogs and toads, teach you how to identify species by sound, and prepare you to collect meaningful data as part of a nationwide citizen science effort.

FrogWatch USA empowers community members to monitor wetland health while contributing to amphibian conservation and environmental stewardship across the country.

As a FrogWatch volunteer, you will:

Visit a local wetland during the frog calling season

Identify frog and toad species by sound

No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to listen.
