Career in a Year Program Showcase

Take the fast track to a new career at Johnston Community College’s Career in a Year Open House Spotlight on March 21st.

This event is designed for prospective students and families who want to explore short-term, career-focused programs that prepare students for in-demand jobs in as little as 12 months.
From 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, attendees will experience interactive displays and hands-on demonstrations while touring campus, meeting faculty and staff, and learning how Career in a Year programs align with today’s workforce needs.

As part of JCC’s Open House, this spotlight event highlights training pathways that offer practical skills, industry-recognized credentials, and a faster route to employment—without sacrificing quality or affordability.

This event is ideal for high school students, adult learners, career changers, and anyone ready to move quickly toward a meaningful career.
