Christ: Our Anchor in Every Storm
Have you ever been hit by a fierce and sudden storm? Unexpected suffering that shakes you to the core and threatens your stable life of faith and joy in God? What do you do at these moments? Where do you find your anchor to stand? The last few years have brought winds of anxiety, loneliness, and distress at global, national, and personal levels. Pain can chip away at our peace and hope. Still, God’s unchanging Word offers encouragement to those facing a storm.
The Old Testament Scriptures give the accounts of three women–Jochebed, Deborah, and Hannah. Their narratives are different–yet, each woman faces her own unique storm. While we can learn from their examples, the Hero of their stories is Someone mightier than the fiercest storm. Dear sister, whatever threat you face today, know that God’s covenant promises cannot be overcome. In Christ, we have a Savior who stands with us—faithful, unmoving, and enduring. He is a steadfast anchor in every storm. He can keep you firmly rooted in hope—whatever the threat!
Please register by February 8th. The conference registration fee is $30, which includes lunch and childcare. The conference fee can be paid in person at the event, or online through the registration link.
About the speaker:
Nana Dolce was born in Ghana and lives today in Washington, DC with her husband, Eric and their four children. Through a variety of contexts, Nana enjoys teaching the Bible to women and training women to teach the Bible. She is the author of You Are Redeemed: Devotions for Living a Whole New Life (2025, New Growth Press) and The Seed of the Woman: 30 Narratives that Point to Jesus (2022, 10ofThose).
